What are Skill Tags®?
Think of a Skill Tag® as a Boy or Girl Scout merit badge, but for sport.
Skill Tags® are colorful, durable plastic bag tags depicting individual skills, basic tactical ideas, or positive character traits. Athletes earn Skill Tags® by successfully executing specific skills or tactics, or by demonstrating particular character traits under the pressures of league or tournament competition.
Skill Tags® can be fully customized with team, club, or league logos and colors, and can feature any terminology you choose to use.
Every Skill Tag® is punched with a hole in the upper-left corner, allowing players to easily display their earned Skill Tags® on their sports backpacks using our various bag attachments.

Design & Proof
Submit your logo and any design requirements. Our creative team will present initial concepts, walk you through revisions, and present a final proof for approval. This is a free service that we extend to all Skillzys® partners, clients, and prospects.
Sit Back & Relax
Once you approve, we produce. Standard turnaround is 5–7 business days from final artwork approval. 2–3 business day rush production is available if needed.

Ships via UPS or FedEx Ground, using your shipping account or ours. Expedited shipping available on request.

Frequently asked.
What artwork files do I need to send?
Vector files are best (AI, EPS, PDF with fonts outlined), but we work with clubs regularly who only have PNG or JPG logos. Our creatives will clean up what you send and produce a proof before anything prints.
Is there a minimum order?
Our standard pricing starts at 50 tags (Starter tier). For smaller runs, reach out - we'll give you a custom quote.
Can the back of the tag be different from the front?
Yes. Two-sided full-color printing is included - and many clubs use the back side for team rosters, sponsor logos, or a message from the coach. The sponsor space on the back is a common way to help offset the cost of the tags.
How long does a typical order take?
Standard turnaround is five (5) business days from final artwork approval. Rush production (2–3 business days) is available when you need it faster. Let us know up front and we'll confirm availability.
Can we reorder the same design later?
Absolutely. Once your artwork is on file, reorders skip the setup fee. Only pay the setup fee again if the design changes (new skills, new sponsor, updated logo).
What sizes and special finishes can you produce beyond the standard CR80?
Plenty. Larger sizes, custom shapes, foil accents, lenticular, metallic - we've produced Skill Tags® in dozens of configurations for clubs and events. Those fall outside the standard pricing above; request a custom quote and we'll put a number on it.
Are Skill Tags® only for soccer?
No. Soccer is where Skill Tags® started, but the same model works for volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, baseball/softball, hockey - anywhere you can define a skill or a character trait. They're also widely used in elementary classrooms for reading, character, and citizenship programs.
How does the Tournament Partner 50% discount actually work?
