Most companies only cut from a small library of industry-standard tag shapes. We cut from your imagination. State outlines, city skylines, mascot silhouettes, sport-specific designs, your logo's actual contour, whatever. If you can sketch it, we can die-cut it.
The cost here depends on the complexity/intricacy of the shape you are looking for. Good news is that the new die belongs to you forever and can be used for future events without this fee.
How much of the pattern shows through depends on your colors and how much of the tag they cover, and it differs by pattern. The same eight-color test grid is printed on the back of every sample below so you can see how each pattern behaves under ink.
The tag is still holographic stock all the way through. A white ink layer prints first and masks the areas you want solid, so the holographic surface shows only where your art leaves it open: a logo, a corner seal, a security mark.
Watch the lower band as the tag turns. It stays flat while everything above it keeps moving.

Submit your logo and any design requirements. Our creative team will present initial concepts, walk you through revisions, and present a final proof for approval. This is a free service that we extend to all Skillzys® partners, clients, and prospects.
Once you approve, we produce. Holographic Tag production runs about 10–12 days from final artwork approval, then your order ships direct to you by air with duties and delivery included, about 7–8 days in transit. Plan on roughly 3 weeks door to door, and let us know your event date up front so we can plan backward from it.
