Tag Thickness

Standard .5mm is roughly the thickness of a credit card, strong enough for daily wear and durable enough to clip on a bag for years. Upgrade to .8mm for a heftier hand-feel often used for VIP credentials and executive tags.

Submit your logo and any design requirements. Our creative team will present initial concepts, walk you through revisions, and present a final proof for approval. This is a free service that we extend to all Skillzys® partners, clients, and prospects.

Sit Back & Relax

Once you approve, we produce. Standard turnaround is 12–15 business days from proof approval. Rush production may be available on request.

What metals do you offer? ⌄
Nine metal options: Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Black, White, Brass, Rose Gold, Copper, Gunmetal, and Carbon Fiber. NFC-enabled Metal Tags are also available on stainless as a smart-chip upgrade.
How durable are metal tags? ⌄
Built to last. Stainless steel is naturally corrosion-resistant and holds up to daily wear, outdoor events, and rough handling. Laser etching is cut into the metal itself so it won't rub off or fade. Brass, copper, and rose gold are living finishes, they may develop a subtle patina over time, which many clients love for the vintage character it adds.
Can you do custom shapes? ⌄
Yes, custom die-cut shapes and interior cutouts are included in the pricing above at no extra charge. Mascots, logos, shields, medallions, if you can draw it, we can cut it. Max dimension is roughly 8.5″, and our design team will refine your artwork for clean production.
What's the minimum order? ⌄
Technically, we can do a single metal tag, if you're willing to sell a kidney to pay for it. But generally, clients come to us for runs of 25+. If you need fewer than 25, fill out a custom quote and we'll see what we can do.
How fast can you produce? ⌄
Standard metal tags: approximately 3–4 weeks from artwork approval, plus shipping. Quick Metal Tags: 5 business days on Stainless, Black, or Brass. Rush: 24-hour turnaround available on select products, reach out for availability. Digital proofs go out within one business day of your order.
What's included in the price? ⌄
Pricing above includes: custom die-cuts and interior cutouts, 1 spot color on both sides, laser etching on both sides, and an individual plastic sleeve for each tag. Additional spot colors, full-color print, premium finishes, thicker stock (.8mm), and NFC chips are available as add-ons.
Can I add NFC technology? ⌄
Yes. NFC Metal Tags embed a programmable chip in a thicker .8mm stainless body. Attendees tap their phone on the tag to launch a URL, vCard, or any destination you choose, no app download required, works with any modern smartphone. You can update what the chip points to at any time, even after delivery.
What file formats do you accept? ⌄
Vector artwork gives the cleanest etch. Preferred formats: .ai, .pdf, .eps (and .cdr). Files should be built in CMYK at 300 DPI with fonts outlined and strokes rasterized. We can work with most standard design formats, if you're unsure, send what you have and our team will take a look.
