How Price Match Works

Upload a PDF, screenshot, or paste the details. We need enough specs to compare apples to apples, see the checklist below.

We Review & Verify

Our sales team reviews the submitted specs against our production capabilities. If the comparison holds up, we will see if we can match their pricing.

Approve & Order

Once you approve our price-matched quote, we move straight to artwork/proof, same Skillzys® creative, quality, and timeline.

What to Send Us

The more specific you are, the faster we can match. Both columns required for a valid match.

The Competing Quote

  • PDF or screenshot of the quote (line items visible)
  • Quoted unit price at your target quantity
  • Quantity / order size
  • Turnaround / lead time as quoted
  • Shipping costs (landed cost matters)
  • Setup / artwork fees if itemized separately

The Product Specs

  • Size & shape (e.g. 3×4″ rectangle, credit-card, custom die)
  • Material / thickness (e.g. 30mil PVC, 10mil, metal)
  • Finish (matte, gloss, foil, double-foil, lenticular, holographic)
  • RFID / NFC chip (yes / no + chip type if known)
  • Variable data (names, numbers, QR / barcode)
  • Minimum order & any MOQ differences

What Counts as Apples-to-Apples

We want to match real comparisons, not compare premium credentials to bargain disposables.

Matches we can usually honor

  • Same size, shape, and thickness
  • Same finish and print complexity
  • Same chip type for RFID/NFC tags
  • Same or larger quantity
  • Same turnaround window
  • Another reputable domestic credential printer

Comparisons that don’t hold up

  • Thinner stock presented as equivalent (e.g. 10mil vs 30mil)
  • Quotes missing chip, finish, or variable-data specs
  • Quantities far below our production tiers
  • Quotes without turnaround, shipping, or setup included
  • Unverified marketplace listings or expired quotes
  • Non-branded knockoffs without finish parity

Quick answers to the questions we hear most.

Is the price match guaranteed? ▼
No, we don’t guarantee every match. We try to match any legitimate, apples-to-apples competing quote. Most submissions land within a few cents of the competing price; some come in under.
What if my quote is missing specs? ▼
Submit what you have, we’ll reach out with specific questions. We can often fill in reasonable assumptions, but the more you give us, the tighter the match.
Do you match auction-site or marketplace pricing? ▼
Usually not. Unverified marketplace listings and disposable-grade product don’t line up with our production standards. We’ll always review and explain why. Often a slightly higher Skillzys® price nets better landed cost once thickness, turnaround, and reprint risk are factored in.
Does a price match change turnaround or quality? ▼
Never. A matched price still gets the same Skillzys® creative services, proofing process, production, and warranty.
How long does the price match stay valid? ▼
Our match is valid for 14 days after we issue it, or until the underlying competing quote expires, whichever comes first.
Can I stack a price match with Partner & Save? ▼
Price Match and Partner & Save are separate programs and generally don’t stack. If you’re running an event series or tournament, Partner & Save usually beats a one-off price match, take a look here.

Price Match submissions are reviewed case-by-case by the Skillzys® sales team. Skillzys® reserves the right to decline matches that aren’t a true apples-to-apples comparison or that fall outside our production standards. Submission does not constitute a binding offer until a matched quote is issued in writing.
